I covered the game courtside. Malbas defeated Brahe 73–70 after losing a big lead and regrouping in the closing minutes.
The hosts started hot with aggressive defense, easy transition points and confident shooting. The score was 25–16 after one and 46–32 at halftime.
After the break Brahe improved their ball movement and patience on offense, clawed back into it and briefly took the lead late in the fourth.
The final two minutes decided it. A. Seilund buried a clutch three for 71–70 and T. Fischer added the closing points for 73–70. Disciplined defensive rebounding and timely stops sealed the win.
